Mommy, Esq. and A. are great at indulging me as I natter on and on over the phone about how many times Cameron got up the night before but nothing beats talking with other moms in person. And seeing their babies as they all hang out on the blankets or play mats. It's also a great opportunity for me to make friends. I am now helping to run the infant playgroup that meets every other Saturday. I'm very excited to continue this as I return to work. What have other moms (or dads!) done to stay connected with other parents? Will this obsession with talking about Cameron actually fade when I return to work? Experience with Mommy, Esq. and others makes me think not!
Cameron is starting to smile more often but still seems to prefer saving them for Daddy and her Aquarium bouncer. Jealous of a bouncer!
This picture is just because she's so beautiful! Cameron watches the older babies enjoy tummy time. I hope it inspires her!Cameron is surrounded by her two boyfriends, Holden and Gabe.

the obsession to talk about Cameron won't fade once you go back to work. You will just figure out which coworkers want to hear about Cameron and which ones don't.
love the pics!! what a beautiful little girl. just don't force everyone at the office to look at pictures of her, haha!! maybe unless they, too, have little babies at home. you can save all the pics for the blogosphere - we'll always love them :)
You will still want to talk about her and look at her pictures throughout the day. I would definitely stay away from talking about her with anyone who doesn't have children, unless they ask. You may think it was their choice not to have children (some older couples) but it may have been infertility. As a victim of infertility, the hardest thing for me was always hearing about what I could not have (luckily with great sums of $$ we overcame that). Anyway, talk about her with those who are receptive!
My moms group has a yahoo group to help stay in touch and answer questions. It has been an invaluable resource! I also set up a monthly moms night out where we can go out without the kids.
Don't worry, there will be parents at work who will gladly "natter on" about kids with you. As long as you listen about their kids' pooping habits, they will be glad to listen to yours. (Even the dads can get that way sometimes, so don't DQ them from the parenting convos!)
Anyway, Cameron is absolutely gorgeous!
